Published six times each year, Early Music Review includes reviews of new books, CDs, DVDs and editions. We also include a useful events diary to help you find performances close to you.

We are particularly keen on receiving news from groups who will be touring not only round Britain but also overseas. Many of our readers are based overseas and tell us how useful it is to know what is going on in their location. Publishing your tour details will inform your followers back at home about the breadth of your work as well as attracting local readers to your concerts.

Advertising and publication details

Early Music Review (EMR) is published six times each year (February, April, June, August, October, December). Whilst the events diary is included for UK subscribers, it is available as an option for overseas subscribers for a small additional charge. The EMR diary includes:

Free basic listings - this will be a short listing without details of soloists/programmes/ticket prices etc
Paid entries, giving much fuller information including programme, ticket prices etc. These cost £12
Display advertisements, with rates dependent on the amount of setting involved, for example:

Full page @ £125

Half page @ £75

Quarter page @ £50

Special concessions are available series advertisements. If you have not previously advertised in Early Music Review please ask Helen to send you a complimentary copy of the magazine, many of our regular advertisers have also become subscribers.

Cheques for listings and advertisements should payable to 'The Early Music Company Ltd' and sent to Helen. Listings should ideally be sent by email to ensure we include all the information accurately. The listings will be circulated by the first of each month, and all information and advertising should be with Helen by the 7th of the month preceding publication.
